Who were are
We're a team of dedicated individuals working from the Hartlepool Enterprise Centre here in our home town. We have a long-standing relationship with Hartlepool Borough Council and we're responsible for designing, hosting and supporting a number of their web sites.
Outside of the public sector, we have a strong client base. As examples, we're responsible for Ash Distribution's web site (part of The Canford Group), up in Newcastle. We're also very proud to be behind the web site of the international charity, The Mission To Seafarers.
It's impressive to be able to mention big names, but we're also keen to assist and promote small businesses, local organisations and artists.
A brief history in time
If you haven't heard of us before, we've been around a long time.
Q-Tec Technological Resources was established in the mid 90's. Under our original name we designed hardware and software for the education market. Most of what we did was based around music, and some of our team were influential in the early days of high quality digital audio for desktop computers, something we now all take for granted.
From the early days of the Internet we've always had a web site to promote our products. It's staggering to imagine the growth of the Internet since the first web site we had way back, around 1994. In response to requests we started bulding web sites for other companies in the late 90s, since those early days we've evolved as a company, building on our skill set and staying ahead of the curve.
We started using Q-Tec Multimedia as an alternate name a few years back, it's easier to pronounce and it hopefully indicates the field in which we operate.
